Senior System Debug Engineer

Job Description

India Habana team seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Debug Engineer with 12+ years of experience in hardware and software debugging. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of successfully identifying and resolving complex system issues. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability and performance. The Key responsibilities are 1. Validation coverage, Sysdebug engineer will be co-owner of test coverage and should identify the gaps and add content to cover it. 2. Drive GO/NOGO decision w/PXT, PVST from Platform sys debug Perspective for the milestone. 3. Act as a gatekeeper for Platform bug quality wrt clarity in description, defining mandatory fields, avoid noise. 4. Own and drive resolution of multidisciplinary platform issues through ingredient partners. 5. Identify the Root cause,isolate and disposition of all PV issues. 6. Define SLA for Bug life cycle, get a commitment from different ingredient partner and monitor, correct if there is any deviation. 7. Ownership of bug life cycle. 8. Improve Program execution efficiency by automating the required area. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to various stakeholders. Team Player: Proven ability to work well in a collaborative team environment and lead cross-functional teams when necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of relative experience Expertise in Linux Kernel debugging Linux system /User mode programming(Expert) Good Knowledge on domains like RAS, Memory, PM,FW,Boot loader(expert in minimum 2 domains) Knowledge on Shell, Python, C, C++ Strong Self -learning and excellent communication capability Strong understanding of GPU architecture and debug Skills. Experience with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch and/or Tensorflow) and their use in data science (Good to have). Knowledge in deploying and validating, AI, machine learning models (Good to have). Knowledge in intel/arm platform architecture and debug tools/frameworks(Good to have)

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
