IT: BlueYonder Cognitive Demand Planning Systems Analyst
Job Description
The Demand forecasting and planning solution delivery group within SCIT : SCP ( Supply Chain IT - Supply Chain Planning ) portfolio in Intel IT is focused on delivering transformative solutions for Intel's Demand forecasting and Planning business processes for Intel's Foundry Division aligning to IT's reference architecture. We are seeking a Blue Yonder Cognitive Demand Planning Systems Analyst!
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team who are in midst of transforming legacy solutions as part of Intel's strategic program called Intel's Acceleration Office ( IAO) . You will be part of one of the Agile teams on the program to deliver products requested by the customer with high quality.
Some of your responsibilities are:
IT Systems Analyst work focuses on designing information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture including:
Collecting and analyzing information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system
Preparing flow charts, models, and procedures and conducting feasibility studies to design possible system solutions
Estimating the costs of system solutions and preparing project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources
Preparing and maintaining technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system
Leverages agile methodology to design and configure solutions
Works closely with business to develop required training, change management and operations process
Develop use cases, customer scenarios, and/or demos, and plan and coordinate testing of the newly developed or enhanced applications and provide support
Looks for opportunities to automate business process with technology and may provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems.
Knowledge of the best practices and design trends for responsive design Experience building sustainable solutions
Analytical approach to solving system issues including understanding system interdependencies
Help technology team to identify and consider all alternate solutions and help them in implementing the best strategy to ensure design meets performance, usability, reliability and scalability requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to successfully juggle multiple projects and priorities and able to shift direction quickly when priorities change
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or other Engineering related field and 6+ years of experience -OR- a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or other Engineering related field and 4+ years of experience -OR- a PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or other Engineering related field and 2+ years of experience in:
Demand planning implementation experience in Blue Yonder (BY)/i2/JDA
IT working experience in configuring and implementing Enterprise software solutions
Configuring Enterprise Software for Demand Forecasting and Planning domain that comprises Demand Forecasting techniques, history data management , evaluating forecast performance and Product life Cycle management
User Story and User Acceptance Test (UAT) development skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Agile software development methods and tools
Understanding of Test First Software Engineering Approach like test-driven development.
Experience using industry standard test and defect management systems like Rally, Jira.
Implementation experience in BlueYonder Demand Planning will be an added advantage.
Implementation experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing / High Tech Industry will be an added advantage
Good understanding of the latest trends and best practices in the Supply chain domain.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
