GPU Software Architect

Job Description

Principal Engineers at the senior level at Intel are active technical leaders inside and outside the company. Activities include participation in major industry and academic conferences, voting membership in international standards committees, generation of patents and technical papers. This role is an exciting role building new technologies for Intel GPU products. Responsibilities include formulating new directions in 3D APIs, driving hardware-software interfaces and guiding driver development for new features.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in an area such as computer science, computer or electrical engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.

• Hands-on experience with DirectX, Vulkan, OpenCL API's, machine learning libraries.

• Track record of developing scalable GPU solutions in 3D and Compute Keen eye towards performance profiling and optimizations.

• Hands-on experience with pre-Si analysis using simulators, emulators, and other analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in an area such as computer science, computer or electrical engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.

• Deep understanding of system architecture and hardware interfaces.

• Significant experience delivering high-quality system software using a variety of languages include C/C++ and Python.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $219,352.00-$351,256.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
