Finance manager
Job Description
The Finance/Accounting Manager will oversee a set of accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and external audits. This role will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function, payroll function, monthly closing of accounts, and preparation of financial statements incl. o Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring efficient and accurate execution of accounting processes.oProvide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members; o Review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.- Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation.- Manage accounts receivable functions, including customer billing, collections, and credit control.- Supervise payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.- Handle payroll tax compliance and reporting.- Lead the month-end closing process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.Qualifications
�Bachelor's or above degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.�Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.�Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles.�Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.�Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.�Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelInside this Business Group
