Data Scientist
Job Description
This is a position in which the candidate will use software and develop custom scripts for the automated detection and quantification of features in microelectronic packages obtained with state-of-the-art analytical systems.
You will be responsible to:
- Develop artificial intelligence / machine learning (AI/ML) based applications to analyze data and develop predictive algorithms to identify major modulators and develop methodologies to automate the analysis and quantification of targeted features in imaging datasets.
- Extract insights from structured and unstructured data by quickly synthesizing large volumes of data, and applying statistics, machine learning and coding techniques.
- You will collaborate with other engineers to identify potential analytical gaps that can be addressed using AI/ML protocols, develop them, execute laboratory experiments to validate numerical results, and ensure proper implementation.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a master's in computer science, Data Science, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Python, Java, SQL, JavaScrip programming.
- Minimum 1 year of experience using machine learning / artificial intelligence tools.
- Minimum 6 years of experience PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Minimum 1 year of experience using machine learning / artificial intelligence tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience on feature detection automation on imaging datasets obtained with 2D/3D X-ray systems.
- Minimum 6 months of experience developing Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs).
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
