Business Strategist
Job Description
This role is on the Sales and Marketing Group (SMG) Strategy and Development Organization (SDO) focused on ensuring data driven decision making for key strategic and transformational initiatives. We work with a variety of stakeholders across marketing and sales teams and broader corporate functions to optimize our investments and ensure key initiatives are consistent with Intel Corporate priorities and SMG top jobs, backed by robust data and with quantifiable, measurable business outcomes.
The person in this role will partner with SMG teams, specifically, Global Operations, Regional and Category Sales and Marketing and Finance to apply knowledge of one or more business areas/domains to plan, monitor, drive programs/projects tied to SMG's transformation initiatives to ensure investments are delivering on expected value.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage cross functional projects or programs from start to end with considerable business impact across multiple organizations.
- Assess subproject dependencies and develops a comprehensive schedule while monitoring future work to proactively adjust for unforeseen scheduling challenges.
- Partner with teams across the business to source, allocate, and coordinate resources, define requirements, perform feasibility analysis, and impact assessment.
- Monitor project and/or program's progress, resolves dependencies, evaluates risks, and communicates status to leadership team and other stakeholders.
- Set and track project and/or program milestones, accounts for unforeseen delays, realign schedules and expectations as needed.
- Conduct project/program close out assessment and creates a recommendations report documenting the successful and unsuccessful project/program elements.
- Leverage knowledge of the business, sales and marketing OKRs to build frameworks to help connect investment plans with clear business outcomes.
- Develop a deep understanding of SMGs top jobs, investments and execute cost benefit analysis with business analyst, consulting and project management/ planning skill set.

- Skills to execute with urgency, to ensure timely decisions in a fast-paced industry.
- Strategic thinker with the skills to understand and exhibit deep understanding of various Intel's sales, marketing and campaign strategies.
- Willingness to both work on projects or tasks with a team and independently.
- Proficiency on key business data sets (revenue, consumption and pipeline/ opportunities, pricing, rebates, marketing and programmatic investments).
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years business and data analytics experience in project management/ planning, data analysis, strategy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in business, marketing, finance, economics, engineering, operations or related field required.
- Be data savvy and capable of reporting and analytics on their own using Excel or other tools.
- Experience implementing complex engagements involving cross-functional and global teams.
- Knowledge of marketing and sales OKRs, direct and partner driven revenue a plus.
- Previous experience working with strategy, sales, marketing and operations teams, finance, IT and data teams in other corporate functions.

Working Model
