This position will be responsible to drive complex business transactions from deal conception and negotiations to contract closure with companies which positively and significantly impact the business bottom line and/or competitive position.
Contributes to business strategy development or other strategic projects as appropriate.
Develops business relationships with third parties to understand the business and technical requirements.
Works closely with internal development teams to guide direction business unit platform/product portfolios, accomplishing business unit strategic objectives. Conducts industry and market research to make build, buy, or partner recommendations to the leadership team.
Builds the business case to justify potential strategic partnerships and corporate transactions.
Partners with cross functional teams to evaluate and drive strategic thinking on expansion opportunities. Identifies opportunities that support strategic priorities by interacting with senior business leaders, software companies, and organic pipeline generation.
Experience and abilities:
10 years or more in a technical role with exposure to advanced process technology. Prefer logic design, device engineering, process integration and/or product engineering background.
10 years or more in leading foundries and/or fabless companies, managing top-tier accounts and/or leading foundries.
Broad understanding of the components of the semiconductor supply chain, including EDA vendors, mask shop, foundry, OSAT, IP vendor, design service, and/or substrate supplier.
Knowledge of the competitive landscape of foundry market, including the strengths and weaknesses of various foundry players in the market.
Have a service-oriented attitude and solution-oriented mindset. Strong project management skill, with very keen sense of risk management. Understand the importance of bringing every open issue to closure promptly, per customer's expectation.
Effective communication skills, to customers, to internal management, to suppliers, to team members, and to internal supporting groups. Capable of illustrating ideas clearly in writing or verbally.
Possess the skills to build relationship, and ultimately earn customer's trust. Savvy in various business contexts, including both formal meetings and customer entertainment events.
Familiar with contractual language and business terms, particularly in the context of semiconductor supply agreement.
Well versed in negotiation strategy. Able to maintain good composure under intense pressure, from customer and/or internal management.
Have a good network in the global semiconductor space, especially among leading fabless, IDM, and/or full-stack customers. Be well acquainted with top fabless companies' influential persons who are in the decision matrix for foundry selection would be very desirable.
Proven leadership capabilities in a multi-cultural and cross-functional team environment.
Qualifications
The candidate must possess degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field of study.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
