PDQe SORT PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
Job Description
Ensures testability and manufacturability of Integrated Circuits (ICs) from the component feasibility stage through production ramp and high volume manufacturing.
Develops test programs that validate products function as designed, debugs product issues prior to launch, drives improvements to product yield, completes new product introductions, and optimizes device binning relative to cost targets and constraints.
Analyzes and evaluates component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability.
Partners with product owners and module engineering to troubleshoot and resolve yield problems.
Ensures excellent overall sort/test product health and performance.
Monitors product health and responds to deviations in performance. Responds to and contains quality excursions.
Communicates stepping changes, product roadmaps and impact of new products to wafer sort and die sort factory success indicators.
Leads product transfer activities with the virtual factory.
Collaborates with product and test engineering teams to develop a stable and effective sort test content including supporting test planning and sort/test debug activities.
Works with Works with product and test partners and other stakeholders on product schedules, defining bin limits, and quality indicators.
Tests new tools and applications for continuous sort/test process improvement.
Support factory production commits with product disposition and troubleshooting of discrepant material.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be having a Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication, Automation and Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
Excellent problem solving, technical, team and communication skills. Eager to learn, desire for growth and willingness to contribute towards team success.
Scripting and data mining skills will be a big bonus.
