Accounting Capital and Incentives lead
Job Description
Israel Accounting is responsible for preparing financial statement according to US GAAP and IFRS, statutory reporting, Tax calculations and Incentives claims and reporting. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for accounting activities and insights in the Capital and Incentives Accounting processes. The candidate will support the manufacturing technology as well as multiple construction projects.
The accountant will be responsible for analyzing the US GAAP and IFRS ledger accounts, preparing financial statements and reports for management and for external government authorities and will be responsible to deliver insights, analyzes and predictive scenarios to management.
This role also includes driving and initiating business process changes and improvements and engaged in global and local projects.
Qualifications
- 4 plus years of Finance experience with a CPA background
- Strong Finance and Accounting technical skills and knowledge
- Excellent knowledge and practice in Excel and office systems. (Knowledge in Python, SQL, Power BI is an advantage)
- Ability to work independently and proactively analyze financial information.
- Strong Stakeholder management skills and excellent teamwork skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills (in Hebrew and English)
- Strong capability of business process and controls improvements
- Critical thinking Innovative mindset
