As part of Intel's IT Infrastructure organization, our Agile Scrum team designs and deploys cutting-edge solutions to enhance Intel's manufacturing processes. Our domain focuses on driving IoT and AR technologies to improve efficiencies in manufacturing, facilities management, and supply chain processes globally.
We are seeking a Senior Software Developer specializing in IoT connectivity infrastructure. The successful candidate will be a customer-focused and enthusiastic IT professional with a genuine passion for technology and creating innovative solutions to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, possess excellent written and face-to-face communication skills, and be willing to collaborate with the wider Global IT teams. You will be enabling and supporting customers who sets high standards for themselves and expects the same from their partners.
Your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
Daily use of cloud and on-premise applications and systems. Commit to development with Agile Scrum deployment cycles.
Respond to support queries/tickets within agreed SLA's. Use the customer's standard methodologies for change and release.
Role requires flexibility with USA time zone crossover.
The ideal candidate should also exhibit the following skills: Self-starter with the skills to work equally autonomously and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Participate and understand technical discussions related to product architecture and functionality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any other related field.
Minimum Qualifications:
4+ years of working experience in:
Senior role in Industrial or related software development.
Linux scripting and OS.
GitHub CI/CD, Ansible.
2+ years of experience in:
Software development language(s): Python or .NET C# or JavaScript
Scripting languages Python, PowerShell, Linux shell or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
LoRaWAN technology
Strong knowledge of IoT protocols, standards, and frameworks (e.g., MQTT, OPCUA, HTTP, etc.)
Industrial communication protocols (PLC).
General networking infrastructure and/or IoT connectivity.
Cloud certifications at the expert or professional level.
Experience/certification of Intune, Azure DevOps, Virtual Machines.
