Intel's Foundry Technology Development Analytics and Technology Automation (TD ATA) group is looking for a highly motivated Automation Operations Engineer who has experience with Factory Automation systems.
This role requires a compressed work-week schedule. We are hiring for all shifts. On-site is required. Remote or Hybrid work mode is not supported.
SHIFT 7 (Thurs, Fri, Sat and every Wednesday from 7:30am to 8pm)
SHIFT 5 (Sun, Mon, Tues and every Wednesday from 7:30am to 8pm)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical troubleshooting and operational support for Factory Automation Applications, Databases, or Platforms/Infrastructure in Intel Foundry's Technology Development Factories.
- Provide next-level support for specific Intel applications for Intel's worldwide factory network.
- Perform project work including software installation activities, Automation software product hardening, and CIP software development as needed.
Work Environment: Candidate should thrive in a fast-paced setting where adaptability and flexibility are essential. They will quickly learn business models to solve problems and troubleshoot systems that support the factory applications that track material, control semiconductor processing, and analyze data critical to the success of the manufacturing process.
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, as well is good written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work cross-geo/site when needed to accomplish results.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):
The candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in a STEM discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in Java, Python, C# or other object-oriented programming language
- 1+ years of experience in Semiconductor Process Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or Factory Automation.
- US Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a STEM discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in Factory Automation.
