Job Description


Our goal is to guarantee that Intel's next-generation state-of-the-art processor platforms are as clean as possible of bugs in the Pre-Silicon design phase, ensuring the highest quality at the full system level.

If you are an enthusiastic engineer, experienced in Pre/Post-Silicon validation and passionate about validation at the crossroads of hardware and software, we want you!

What will you do? 
As a member of our team, you will participate in the development and validation of the most advanced Intel products for a wide range of silicon portfolios. 
You will plan, develop, execute and debug Pre-Silicon system-level test plans over FPGA and Emulation platforms. 
In this position, you will play a central role in enabling multiple validation activities before we have the silicon in the lab, and long before Intel's customers see those products in stores.


Qualifications


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

BSC/MSC degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
7+ years of experience in Pre/Post-Silicon validation/debug related positions: Verification/Validation/Design 
7+ years of SW validation / programming / System integration experience: Python, C/C++

Hands on Experience in Post Silicon Validation, Type C sub system and thunderbolt.

Advantage: 
Familiarity with Intel CPU/x86 Architecture (preferred) or other modern CPUs System on Chips (SOCs) 
Experience in RTL design, synthesis, Emulation, FPGA prototyping.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
