VP, Analog and Mixed Signal Technology and IP Development - Intel Foundry
Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Vice President to lead our Analog and Mixed Signal Technology and IP Development role within the foundry technology development team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving customer success by leading a high-performing technical team that collaborates across Foundry Technology Development to define, co-optimize, enable and deliver analog and mixed signal designs on Intel Foundry technology. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading analog and mixed signal design, a deep understanding of advanced silicon technology, and a proven track record of leadership in customer-facing roles.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Strategy:
- Lead an organization of engineers and technologists focused on analog and mixed signal technology enablement and IP design.
- Develop and execute strategic plans that align the organization with customer needs and the company's broader foundry business objectives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence within the team.
2. Advanced Customer Engagement:
- Serve as the senior executive point of contact for key customers regarding resolving technical issues in the domain of Analog and Mixed Signal design and RF/mmWave design on Intel Foundry technology.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their analog and mixed signal technology and IP requirements, driving the development of innovative, customized solutions.
3. Analog and RF Technology Definition and DTCO:
- Leverage deep technical expertise in analog, mixed-signal and/or RF/mmWave design to guide cross-functional teams of experts in Foundry Technology Development to define technologies and analog PDK components that result in industry leading product performance.
- Collaborate with lead customers of Intel Foundry and strategic IP and EDA partners to co-optimize Intel Foundry technologies for emerging design directions.
4. Analog, Mixed Signal and RF/mmWave IP Development:
- Lead global development teams responsible for diverse reference and production IP designs spanning the space of high-speed I/O, PLLs, bandgap references, thermal sensors, general-purpose I/O, random number generators, high-speed ADCs, beamformers and amplifiers.
- Drive alignment between customer needs and internal development roadmaps, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
5. Organizational Development:
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing team, focusing on professional growth and technical skill development.
- Implement processes and tools that improve efficiency, collaboration, and the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a significant portion of that time in analog and mixed signal IP design or technology related roles.
- Technical Expertise: Understanding of analog and mixed signal design, semiconductor manufacturing processes, and the specific needs of foundry customers. Experience in post-silicon power-on and debug of analog, mixed signal or RF/mmWave circuits.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading diverse, and geographically distributed teams, including experience at the VP or senior director level.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer relationships, navigate high-stakes situations, and deliver results that exceed expectations.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$295,000 - $330,000
Salaryrangedependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
