We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Memory Electrical Validation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical validation, debugging, and optimization of memory IO interfaces. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong coding skills, and a drive for aggressive pathfinding on new memory technology and future technology development. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in content development for large-scale automation to enhance validation processes and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Electrical Validation Engineer will be responsible for validating analog performance and ensuring signal integrity compliance with industry standards. This includes defining and optimizing Memory Reference Code (MRC) requirements for validation and margin optimization, as well as analyzing, validating, debugging, and optimizing MRC steps and values to enhance margins and quality. The role also involves developing and implementing validation procedures, analysis methods, and infrastructure, preparing detailed validation specifications, evaluating IP, and generating comprehensive test reports to ensure products conform to standards and specifications.
A significant part of the role includes leading debugging efforts to identify root causes and resolve electrical issues, driving aggressive pathfinding on new memory technology and future technology development, and testing interactions between various electrical design features using validation infrastructure. The engineer will independently evaluate and select components and equipment based on specifications, performance, and reliability. Collaboration with architecture, design, and presilicon verification teams is essential to ensure validation and test capability, with a strong emphasis on content development for large-scale automation to streamline and enhance validation processes.
The ideal candidate should exhibit:
- Strong coding skills and proficiency in data analytics, with a willingness to work hands-on in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Proven leadership in debugging and resolving complex electrical issues is crucial, along with a demonstrated ability to drive innovation and pathfinding in new memory technology and future technology development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
7+ years of experience in electrical validation, signal integrity, and memory IO interfaces.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with:
JMP, Github, Python
High BW Oscilloscopes, BERT or related.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
