Who We Are:
Intel's Government Information Technology and Security (GITS) organization enables Intel to win United States Government business by providing secure products, solutions, and services which meet U.S. regulatory requirements. The GITS team is part of Intel's Information Security organization and supports the unique IT information Security and Compliance requirements for Intel Federal LLC, a subsidiary of Intel that delivers products and/or services to the US Government (USG). As part of the GITS team, you will help us grow our secure solution suite to meet U.S. Government requirements for data safeguarding.
Role Overview:
We seek a highly skilled and cleared InfoSec Architect to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be pivotal in designing new secure solutions to support our business capabilities fostering partnerships with business and technical architects, program/project managers, and solution integrators. This role is critical in enabling the development of secure solutions that streamline the flow of business value from customer request to delivery, with a keen focus on innovation, design, and construction of cutting-edge solutions and services.
An InfoSec Architect ensures that the stakeholder security requirements necessary to protect the customer's mission and business processes are adequately addressed in all aspects of enterprise architecture including reference models, segment and solution architectures, and the resulting systems supporting those missions and business processes. Drives analysis and implementation of Security Solutions to meet customer requirements, creates and maintains cybersecurity reference and solution architectures in line with industry best practice. Reviews and develops security strategies, policies, standards and processes. Reviews and assesses security posture in line with emerging threats and assesses the risk that these may pose.
Candidates for the Government IT and Security Architect role should have a solid foundation in cybersecurity frameworks such as CMMC, NIST, and RMF. This ensures candidates have a deep understanding of cybersecurity standards and frameworks critical to the role and recognized credentials that validate their expertise.
Your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
- Develop, document and maintain InfoSec architectures based on customer requirements using defense in depth methodologies.
- Evaluate and analyze software and hardware security features.
- Design security frameworks for emerging technologies across diverse platforms and environments.
- Understand the cybersecurity frameworks the organization must be compliant with, and the associated controls required to comply with them.
- Collaborate with partnered security teams to address architectural needs.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in security.
- Provide technical mentorship to engineers and solution integrators.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
US citizenship required. This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States [federal, state, and/or local] government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents.
Bachelor´s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of relevant experience.
- 4+ years of experience in a security architecture role, preferably within the government or DIB developing large scale solutions.
- At least 4+ years of experience protecting CUI and ITAR in secured environments (or other equivalent environments), using the NIST SP 800-171 standard.
- 4+ years of experience in one or more InfoSec disciplines (e.g. EDR, SIEM, Network Security, Vulnerability Management, IAM, APTs Etc...)
- 4+ years of experience in infrastructure and cloud security, including GovCloud.
- 4+ years of experience with risk assessment/threat modeling experience, using the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- 4+ years of experience working within the OSI model.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master´s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- Active U.S. Government security clearance.
- Certifications: TOGAF, CISSP, SABSA, CSSP, CEH, CISM, GSLC.

Working Model
