Platform Applications Engineer(Hardware) - CG
Job Description
This is a valuable opportunity for you to get in early on a fast growing and important part of Intel's core business. As a member of Intel DCAI PRC Platform Applications Engineering team, you will be working closely with both internal engineering development teams and external industry leading OEMs to ensure readiness of Intel's customers' next generation Xeon server designs. The primary responsibilities for this position will consist of: - Participate in the development of next-generation server platforms and/or technologies by representing the best interests of both internal planning and engineering teams and external customers. - Work with Intel sales team to ensure the TTM (Time to Market) enabling of customers' server designs by actively engaging with customers in various activities including resolving technical issues, participating in customer visits, and delivering technical trainings and presentations. - Perform regular customer technical enabling tasks including schematic reviews, layout reviews, real-time Q and As, and system/board debug etc. on customers' and reference design boards. - Develop and present technical product training materials at major Intel events including DCDC Data Center Design Conference and technology workshop etc. - Own the creation and maintenance of critical technical collaterals including product specifications, design guides, simulation models, datasheets, application notes, etc.Qualifications
BS or MS degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. Understanding and knowledge of microprocessors, chipsets, and/or board design are strongly preferred. Demonstrated validation/debug hands-on skills are strongly preferred. Work well in a team environment, willing to travel both domestically and internationally. Able to own and drive resolution of technical issues and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Fluent in both Mandarin and English (written and verbal), good presentation skills.
