Full-Stack Software Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineers! A Full-Stack Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications used by end users or integrated with other applications by ISV partners. Development may span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development. Uses modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyzes user stories, writes both functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit integration and end-to-end testing of applications. Completes software development lifecycle tasks with the assistance of product security engineers and provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May also interact with end users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Part of an APT (agile persistent team) working with others in the team to develop solutions used in semi-conductor MFG.
Pair programming used within the group to introduce team members to the platform but the ability to work on your own to deliver high impact code with the ability to close out tasks and stories on the board.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of industry/post-university experience in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a related field with solid software programming experience, OR, Master's/PHD with at least 2+ years of industry/post-university experience:
Mastery of back-end/front-end software architecture and design practices is a must.
Excellent demonstrated experience using current web technologies (.NET and Angular 10+).
Fluency in C#, SQL, and JavaScript/Angular/RxJS.
The ability to learn on the fly; candidate needs to be a self-starter and adapt new technologies quickly.
Advanced English level, including strong communication skills required to interface with others.
Preferred Qualifications
Python is a bonus.
MSSQL is a bonus.
Solid skills around integrating with RESTful APIs.
Experience in leveraging open-source packages is desired.
Experience with semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.
Working knowledge of basic computer science data structures and algorithms.
Experience in trouble shooting and root cause analysis for performance issues.
Experience with source control tools (GIT) and willing to review code.
Jasmine and Cypress testing frameworks a bonus.
