Software Application Development Engineer
Job Description
This job will enable you to play an important full stack software development role to experience working in the Intel Supply Chain environment involving system design, development, testing and debugging our custom applications.
You will be working closely with a group of talented team members spanning not just from similar roles, but with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Solution Analysts, System Architect and Business Process owners as well.
You will be jointly developing and supporting technical solutions for web applications, barcodes applications for both Factory and Warehouses, reporting, enterprise integrations, data store and processing layers that cater for the scalability, high availability, security and high-performance design.
You will also be producing and updating development activity plans, effort estimations and technical architecture to support business objectives.
The team you are part of will be fully driven through the Agile methodology and will have great abundant exposures to various up-to-date custom apps development technologies/protocols and frameworks such as .NET, REST, SOAP, SQL, MVC, React and PostgreSQL.
The results of your achievement will see direct value and impact to Intel factory and warehouse logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Possess at least a bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology or equivalent, with at least 8 years of working experience.
- Technical individuals who are passionate to try out the latest development methods, explore and bring innovations to current applications.
- Candidates having development experience and passionate in React, .NET, SQL, PostgreSQL, GitHub, SAFe/Agile Development and requirement gathering and analysis with end customers.
- Ideal candidate who has supply chain knowledge would be an added advantage.
- Person comfortable to participate in software design and design discussions to improve software performance, maintainability, serviceability, and reliability. Great interest in web front end development (React/Angular), JavaScript Knowledge.
- .NET Middleware, Web API, and SQL Server, PostgreSQL. Working experience with database objects such as stored procedures, functions, views will be a good fit.
- Person aware of Agile Development Practices using tools like JIRA will be beneficial but not mandatory.
- Experience in CI/CD or Person with relevant experience in Supply chain domain / Warehouse management will be an added advantage.
- Experience in developing or working on logistics label printing solutions.
