Job Description
A Chipset is the heart of the system. It is a gateway to create a great user experience that goes into every client system, for example laptops, desktop, tablets etc.This is the single most important interface between a system and a human - every IO component goes through the Chipset.Our SoC engineers have the opportunity to be part of a RnD team who are always seeking new challenge to push the frontiers of technology on Intel's latest Chipsets. Within the team, you will be at the forefront of performing Front End related activities ranging from IP integration to SOC verification using state of the art tools and methodology.If you enjoy the breadth of working closely with counterparts from around the world, you have the opportunity to participate in technology enhancements or efficiency that spans across multiple geographies. We are looking for great engineers who will help us push the user experience to the next level that is only bounded by your imagination.As a SoC engineer, a typical cool day comprises of:Learning of IP interoperability (in System Verilog, Verilog or other Hardware description language)Creative problem solving along the process of integrating an IP into SOCDeveloping new scenarios to verify the functionality of IP in SOC.This includes documenting a test plan, coding test content or coverage points to validate the functionality of new architectural features of next generation designs.Qualifications
Applicant should have:Bachelor/Masters degree in Electrical Electronics or Computer System or relevant fields
Experience in Front End development or related areas.
Knowledge in RTL integration and validation methodologies is a plus
Possesses strong analytical and debug skills.
Ability to communicate well with counterparts and key stakeholders including cross site partners.
