APJ Operations Compliance Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Business Analyst to join APJ Operations of Global Operations and Support, SMG. This individual will focus on the sales, pricing and rebates process, ensuring that all operations adhere to relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. The role will involve working closely with the across the organization including but not limited sales, pricing, operations, legal, and compliance teams to evaluate, document, monitor and improve compliance. The role will also be focal point for compliance consultancy and gatekeeper of integrity, effectiveness, and efficiency of our organization's sales and pricing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales, Pricing and Rebates Process Analysis and Compliance:
Analyze evaluate and ensure sales pricing and rebate processes and controls in compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies.
Identify potential risks, inefficiencies, or non-compliance areas within pricing models, discount structures, contract terms, and other rebate-related practices.
Work with business stakeholders to monitor the impact of changes to pricing, rebate or sales strategies and process on compliance requirements.
Conduct self-audits where necessary to ensure pricing and rebate practices adhere to both compliance requirements.
2. Compliance Go-To Champion:
Act as a Go-To Champion of the organization to resolve compliance-related issues.
Own business process and execution of non-standard rebates, including but not limited to indirect consumption rebates, gatekeep any future requests balancing process complexity and business requirements.
Coordinate and own SOX activities for the organization through collaborations across SOX Program Office, Finance and other related owners.
Provide training and guidance to teams to boost the awareness on compliance-related matters affecting sales, pricing and rebates.
3. Monitoring Indicators:
Develop and implement a set of key compliance monitoring indicators, both leading and lagging, to track adherence to sales and pricing policies, and identify any potential areas of non-compliance or operational risk.
Regularly review and report out indicators with stakeholders and management, recommend mitigation plan and proactively address risks.
Refine indicators based on evolving regulatory and business requirements.
4. End-to-End Process Efficiency:
Lead initiatives to optimize the end-to-end sales, pricing and rebates processes, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement across the entire workflow.
Design and implement process improvements to increase speed, accuracy, and consistency in sales and pricing decision-making while ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
Track the impact of process improvements, providing regular updates to leadership on performance metrics and process efficiency gains.
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in business analysis, finance, operation or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and propose solutions.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, legal teams, and other business units.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Experience in compliance or process management, pricing, or rebates is a plus.
