Job Description
As a manager set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
Responsible for supervision/management of an IT function/site/corporate operation.
Day to day functional management of the organization, to include performance management, training/developing, forecasting/reporting, and budgeting/expense control.
Set future direction and plans.
Ensures operation meets basic user, headcount, and quality guidelines.
Represent operation.
Provide training program.
Provide day to day operational reporting/tracking indicators.
Requires advanced knowledge of a highly technical or professional field.
Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts.Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Electronic Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; OR
4+ years of experience in similar role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing employee performance, including coaching, developing and monitoring employee's
Lean experience is an advantage with use of lean tools.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Excellent organization and Demonstrated problem solving skills.
Ability to communicate appropriately across the range of roles from senior management to line technicians and Engineering.
Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement.
Factory Business Acumen demonstrated through working successfully with customers Broad Understanding of the MITAMHS Service.
