The Client AI organization is dedicated to research and development for the future of AI - unprecedented scale for enabling machine intelligence on Edge, desktop, and mobile computers. While achieving a minimal power consumption and tremendous computing power, Intel AI accelerators are targeting daily use for millions of devices. Intel is looking for AI software developers for MLIR compiler, OpenVINO plugin and software kernel library roles. In these roles you will play a pivotal role developing and deploying new AI use cases for Intel Client platforms in the image classification, speech recognition and natural language processing arenas. As a Client AI Software developer, you will have the opportunity to work with best-in-class AI hardware accelerators using state of the art software technology to deliver unequaled AI solutions to Intel Client compute devices, including the next wave of disruptive use cases in generative AI (stable diffusion) and large language models.
We are a distributed team with our engineers working in a hybrid model. We have teams in Romania, Ireland, and Poland, but are open to senior candidates from all over Europe.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in programming
Excellent C++ programming skills and any one of the following C/C#/Python/Bash/Makefiles
Computer architecture experience and proven record contributing to large-scale, multi-component software systems.
Strong production software engineering background, experience with CI, code reviews, paired programming, unit and integration testing
Experience with OpenCV library and/or OpenVINO development toolkit
Experience in one the following: compiler technologies, computer vision, numerical modelling, high-performance computing, deep-learning frameworks or algorithms
Preferred qualification
Ability to create software designs based on architecture and requirements.
Experience in development of graph-based algorithms, e.g. production solutions based on graph coloring, maximum cut, shortest path, etc.
Experience in programming for DSPs
Ability to clearly communicate concepts and problem statements in a multi-cultural environment.
Experience demonstrating problem solving skills.
Experience in AI hardware accelerators, VPU, GPU, heterogeneous architectures software development.
Embedded systems experience and real time operating systems.
Experience in developing drivers.
Experience in LLVM/MLIR.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
