PQC Research Scientist (f/m/d)
Job Description
Post-Quantum Cryptography Research Scientist design, develop, execute and implement a scientific research projects to fuel Intel's growth in the areas of computing, communication, technology and manufacturing and new business opportunity. Investigates the feasibility of applying scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions and products typically 7+ years prior to landing on a product roadmap. PQC Research Scientist plans and executes laboratory research. Maintains substantial knowledge of state of the art principles and theories, and contributes to scientific literature and conferences. May participate in development of intellectual property. May coordinate interdepartmental activities and research efforts.
You will perform research in Post-Quantum Cryptography, proposing scalable solutions, and building hardware and software prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility of technical solutions. The ideal candidate should exhibit behavioral traits that indicate:

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position: studying PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with emphasis on Post Quantum Cryptography. 1+ years of experience in below areas: one or more publications on cryptography in a peer-reviewed conferences/journals, Post Quantum Digital Signature and Key Encapsulation algorithms, Lattice-Based Cryptography, proficiency in hardware design and RTL implementation, and side-channel countermeasures.

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
