Who We Are
This position is in a Failure Analysis lab at Intel focusing on product level debug. The lab comes under QED in DASE Group in the DCAI BU at Intel that focuses on troubleshooting issues at board and systems level during design and development phases.

Only for undergraduate candidates enrolled in the MECOP program
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. This is for MECOP Internship. Job assignments are usually for the spring or fall for 6 months. This internship is for a student pursuing computer science degree, to understand, develop and document debug methodologies for upcoming accelerator and xeon products using software programs and debug tools.
As part of job will be involved with active hands-on work with boards and systems hardware and software at same time.
Will research learnings from literature on the latest developments in FA with respect to systems.
The intern will also further develop internal AI tools to increase efficiency of failure analysis programs Will work actively with cross-functional teams.

Demonstrate strong leadership, stakeholder management and is a contributing Team Player.
Good facilitation and Organizational skills needed.

This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a bachelor's degree and less than three years' experience.
Candidate cannot have participated in an Intel internship previously through the MECOP program (only applicable to Senior students).
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a Chemical Engineering field.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with physical analytical tools like GCMS, FTIR, SEM EDX, Optical
Microscopes through lab research or prior internships/work experiences.
Experience working with vendors, understanding TDS, SDS documents.
