At Scale and IA System Validation Engineer
Job Description
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Integrates and debugs software across the stack for a specific product, platform, feature, or technology throughout the product lifecycle, including PreSilicon development, power on, and/or PostSilicon development.
- Debugs software across multiple layers of the software stack including firmware, drivers, and operating systems.
- Develop and applies a hardware/software debug plan and associated methodologies.
- Analyzes issues, manages sightings from various validation streams, determines root cause, and drives or develops improvements.
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
- Advanced Problem-Solving skills.
- Strong English communication skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
- 2+ years working on System Validation.
- 2+ years of experience of PC Architecture knowledge.
- Advanced English level.
Preferred Qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:
- Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field
- 2+ years of experience in Hardware and/or software development debugging skills.
- 1+ year of experience working with Linux Operating systems experience with focus on OS/Kernel debug. Any other high speed IO understanding is an added advantage. Bash, C and/or Python scripting.
- Digital and analog electronics device knowledge.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a- combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
