Graphics Software CI Manager
Job Description
As part of Client Computing Group, we deliver world-class validation solutions for Intel GPU products. The team you will be part of provides CI/CD processes based on a proprietary framework and developed internally.
The scale is huge: thousands of test machines placed in numerous labs, running 24/7 validation feeding an endless stream of data to analyze. To manage all of that effectively we use flexible test planning tools, a fully automated test execution engine with schedulers providing fair test queue balancing, a handful of reporting solutions, automated data analysis mechanisms and a lot of monitoring services.
Maintaining an efficient and reliable process based on top of that is a challenge, made more interesting as we cooperate with multiple internal graphics teams worldwide.
We are seeking a manager to lead a team delivering these solutions. You should be open to dynamic changes and able to devise solutions for everyday challenges to deliver consistent results. A preferred candidate must be collaborative with their employees and across organizations, willing to seek help if needed and drive change to improve efficiencies within the team.
As the manager of a Continuous Integration (CI) Team, your responsibility will be (but not limited to) to lead a team that manages:
Test planning and test execution management for optimal resource utilization
Test results analysis, regression testing, issues triaging, reporting and tracking
Setting up, maintenance and monitoring of both hosts and virtual machines, (today it’s ~15 000 VMs)
Enabling new simulation environments/configurations
Maintaining the best known configuration in Github for all simulation execution
Process maintenance and development with a focus on efficiency and reliability metrics
Cooperation with diverse teams on test suite definition, testing priorities, test ecosystem development, validation strategy, etc.
Sets and achieves challenging goals with continuous improvement each quarter
Qualifications
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science and/or Bachelor or minor in Business
Minimum 3 years of managing software or process-oriented teams
Leadership experience managing a team of at least 10 people
Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking)
Good analytical skills
Willingness to learn new things and improve their skills
Challenge-driven, due diligent and focused on the quality
Team player with good collaboration skills
