Responsibilities:
- Partner with groups across Intel to identify opportunities, influence teams toward industry best practices, and help accelerate Intel's journey to becoming a 'software first' company.
- Improving development team’s efficiency by leveraging CI/CD tools to automate testing and deployment.
- Primary point of contact for handling customer requirements, providing guidance and recommendations to enhance engineering velocity.
- Make recommendations on specific aspects of Build & Deployment and continuously strive towards improvements in process and productivity through technology improvements.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech/MCA or MSc in Computer Science or a similar degree program
- Proficient in working with and developing in Linux and/or Windows environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of full lifecycle configuration management
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- 3+ years of relevant experience with emphasis on DevOps related activities:
- Setting up CI/CD pipelines with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concept principle.
- Experience with one or more scripting languages e.g. Python, Bash, Groovy
- Hands-on experience with related tools:
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Infrastructure automation management e.g. Ansible
- Build management tools e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure devops
- Administration of modern/distributed SCM systems e.g. GIT, GitHub.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge in cloud computing operations and cloud server provider platforms e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure will be an added advantage.
- Preferred Monitoring, reporting and analytics experience
