We are looking for Firmware Validation Engineers to join our department, so if you have growth mindset and you are motivated to take on challenges, you are a great fit for our team In the Data Center and Artificial Technology Group, you will have a chance to work on the best class software using modern technics and methods.
You will get an experience on the world's best technologies, which will be released to the market within a few years.
You can work across geographies, cultures, and organizations - to deliver high-quality software/firmware solutions to our partners.
You will be responsible for:
- Helping us increase firmware quality by designing, coding, debugging, executing, and reporting automated/manual tests
- Prioritizing your own daily tasks
- Creating and documenting validation strategy/plan
- Analyzing and writing test standards and procedures
- Analyzing test results to ensure correct functionality determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action
- Consulting with other team members in resolution of problems
- Providing feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages systems and computation software
Qualifications
Required from candidates:
- Recent college graduate with master’s degree in computer science
- Strong, low-level experience with power management domain and power controllers
- Experience with hardware simulation environments
- Proficiency in the following programming languages: Python, C++
- Working experience with debugging
- Experience in software testing, knowledge of different types of testing: exploratory, open/closed box, fuzz, acceptance testing
- Practical knowledge of Linux or Unix environment
- Familiarity with git version control system. Working knowledge of Github.
- Experience and knowledge of hardware specifics (uControllers)
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in a competitive team environment in multiple geo-locations
- Analytical skills with attention to details
- Willingness to learn new topics and improve own skillset
Nice to have skillset:
- Knowledge of Bash or other scripting languages
- Knowledge of Ruby programming language
