Product Quality and Reliability Engineer
Job Description
Product Quality and Reliability Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:Post-Silicon verification, including definition and execution of the reliability qual plan to characterize the quality and reliability risk of various IPs (standard and novel) on the test chips.
Performing quality audits in the design phase, risk assessments on pre-silicon design reliability, and defining the post-Silicon data collection plan.
Definition and execution of DOEs including Device Aging, Electro Static Discharge (ESD), Latch-Up (LU), Soft Error Reliability (SER) as well as design/package interactions. Debug of failures including working with other teams to understand design marginalities and failure analysis
Provide the voice of quality to test chip project management teams, ensuring all Product Life Cycle criteria are met.
Enable Product tape-out with a qualified IP using the Test-chip qualification data.
Work with partner organizations for test pattern definition, resourcing and HW planning to enable on-time reliability data collection.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/physics or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Quality and Reliability, circuit simulation, Performance Validation, Reliability validation, Physical Design, Product Development, or Test engineering.
- Data Analysis 2+ yr experience.
- Experience in semiconductor devices, circuit design and/or computer architecture.
- Experience in technical and analytical problem solving.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
- Well organized, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
Preferred qualifications: - A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering/Physics or a related field.
- Design knowledge in the areas of device aging, Interconnect Reliability and ESD-LU is a plus
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, packaging, and device physics.
- Use of statistical packages such as JMP or Minitab.Experience with presenting complex messages to technical teams.
