Linux OSV Hardware Program Manager

The Program Management Office in the Software and Advanced Technology Group SATG is seeking for an experienced technical Program Manager to enable the Linux ecosystem. You will be the single point of contact for external Operating System Vendor (OSV) partners for all pre-production hardware related issues. To support Intel’s enablement goals with our Linux partners, you will manage all pre-production hardware allocation for external OS partners and internal teams including OSV labs.
This role includes understanding and acting upon Intel's hardware and software roadmaps, working across multiple organizations and BUs, engaging with Client, Server and NEX Platform Execution Teams, and building on current processes to streamline this effort. You will drive entering the demand, tracking, and support of these external systems located across geos.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Engage with System Software Engineering (SSE) hardware team to provide forecast and demand of systems and parts, for standard/EPS platforms.
- Provide yearly roadmap reviews, covering all current and upcoming platforms to external Linux partners.
- Facilitate support of OSV systems, as needed, when tickets are filed through appropriate channels.
- For non-standard platforms, order all parts necessary to build golden configurations.
- Supervise and drive the building of these systems with BUs.
- Work with BUs (NEX) for non-EPS supported systems to manage golden configuration for systems, building systems that will be externally shipped, coordinating external documentation and IFWI, ticketing system for support issues.
- Ensure timely delivery of Intel pre-production hardware needed to achieve Intel and OSV schedules and goals.
- Provide comprehensive weekly updates to OSV partners and OSVE team on status of HW orders.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications, you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
- 7+ years of experience program/project management and managing technical programs and delivering complex systems, consisting of silicon, hardware and software products.
- The position is located in Mexico, it is not eligible for an Intel immigration sponsorship.
- Intermediate to advanced English level.
Preferred Qualifications, are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:
- Master's degree in engineering or computer science.
- 5+ years of program/project management experience.
- Prior experience in HW engineering and program management.
- PMP or equivalent certification.
- Experience with Jira and modern development tools.
- Experience working with Agile and DevOps methodologies, certification a plus, also with various reporting models.
- Effectively manage against tight deadlines and competing priorities.
- Functional understanding of Intel Platforms.
- Intel Product Lifecycle (Gladius) and roadmap knowledge.
