About the Group
The Intel Global Tax team is a specialty team within Intel Finance that is well regarded for its tax technical expertise and business acumen. The Intel Global Tax team partners with a wide array of teams including commercial teams including manufacturing, Corporate Development, as well as finance teams including Accounting and Treasury to solve complex business issues and deliver sustainable value.
About the Role
This role reports to the Senior Global Tax Planning Director in the Intel Corporate Tax Team, and will be the EMEA Tax Director, leading our dynamic tax team in the region. This region covers multiple countries and business operational types from manufacturing to sales. In addition to strong technical expertise, the successful candidate will build, lead and maintain a strong working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders including global finance and operations teams in accordance with Intel's Global Tax Policy. This position is open to candidates in UK and Europe.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive collaborations across EMEA countries as a cross-functional tax team to provide advice and support business initiatives
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all EMEA tax returns and filings including Corporate Tax, Employment Tax, and indirect taxes such as VAT and GST.
- Partner with US compliance team and outsource compliance partners to improve standardization as well as automation in the tax reporting process.
- Partner with Director, Tax Controversy to ensure compliance efforts are 'audit ready', proactively manage audits and resolve issues raised on audit strategically and efficiently
- Develop framework and tools to monitor and improve efficiencies in global tax reporting requirements
- Build, lead, develop and mentor a strong performing team of tax professionals
- Support tax value added projects including but not limited to RnD credit studies, supply chain optimization, tax efficient cash repatriation planning
Qualifications
- University degree, with advanced degree or professional qualification in tax, law or accounting preferred
- 12+ years of experience at a multinational corporation and/or public accounting firm.
- Demonstrated track record of working closely with businesses to deliver value added tax optimized solutions to complex issues
- Experience leading and managing complex reporting structures for a multinational corporation with a large number of entities
- Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
- Proven experience with problem solving and prioritization
- Exceptional organization and project management skills with the ability to work independently and/or cross functionally as needed
Preferred skills/experience:
- Experience working with complex supply chains in a manufacturing setting
- Deep expertise in US international tax principles and/or transfer pricing
- Strong audit experience
- Leading teams across multiple countries

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
