Intel's Foundry Technology Development Analytics and Technology Automation (TD ATA) group is looking for a highly motivated Automation Engineer who has development experience using object-oriented programming languages.
On-site is required. Remote or Hybrid work mode is not supported.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform project work including software installation and enhancement activities, Automation software product hardening and CIP software development as needed
- Implement and enhance existing automation systems to enable tracking of lots via RFID or other systems
- Independent problem-solving ability to identify and solve highly complex problems in factory with a thorough understanding of the factory environment and application integration knowledge
- Work closely with the business units to identify root causes, define the strategic and tactical needs and drive the appropriate business and technical software solutions by formal technical training, business knowledge and judgment
Work Environment:
Candidate should thrive in a fast-paced setting where adaptability and flexibility is essential. They will quickly learn the existing automation architecture and how RFID and other lot tracking systems interact with other factory applications. They will also be on call to support this application 24x7.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):
- US Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related STEM discipline and 5+ years of experience OR a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related STEM discipline with 4+ years in a STEM discipline
- 4+ years of experience development in .Net/C#.
- 4+ years’ experience with Windows application development and containers such as Docker.
- 2+ years’ experience with database experience such as Oracle and SQL.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Active US Government Security Clearance, with a minimum of Secret.
- PhD degree in a STEM discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Factory Automation object-oriented programming language.
- 2+ years of experience in Semiconductor Process Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or Factory Automation.
