In this position, the candidate will be joining the GPU Software Development Engineering team with a focus on the Graphics Memory Manager component. Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a software technical nature. If you are an experienced Graphics Software Engineer seeking an opportunity to help shape, lead and deliver immersive visual experiences to millions of users, then GPU Software Engineering (GSE) has Development opportunities for you. We deliver Intel's Software Graphics, media, display driver solutions across client, server and embedded markets. This position requires involvement in all phases of design from pre-silicon emulation/simulation through post-silicon product launch, covering aspects of functionality, power and performance, and debuggability. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple teams such as OS (MSFT), BIOS, HW, Customer Engineering, multiple Graphics SW teams, etc. The Graphics Memory Manager library that is a central component for the functionality and performance of games, video encode/decode, and other workloads. The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology and software, and outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
Behavioral skills we are looking include strong attention to technical detail, data analysis, documentation and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with 3+ years experience or Master's degree with 1+ years of software development experience with a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar STEM degree in all of the following:
Developing user/kernel-mode device drivers on Windows OS, knowledge of WDDM and relevant kernel experience.
C / C++ software product development, ability to understand HW and relevant specifications needed to develop/validate the software.
Experience with graphic drivers, GPU hardware and low level GPU programming.
Preferred Qualifications:
3D graphics programming via DirectX, Vulkan or OpenGL
Working in systems (hardware/software) product development teams.
Familiarity with graphics, video and/or display technologies
Memory management, scheduler, virtualization and other components of kernel mode driver

Working Model
