Web Application Development Engineer
Job Description
The Intel Manufacturing Automation (MA) team is seeking highly skilled Web UI Application Developers with expertise in developing highly responsive web applications using popular JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js, Devexpress). The ideal candidates will be responsible for developing Single Page Applications on internally developed cross-domain web platforms using a large variety of reusable components on a microservice architecture and deploy globally across Intel's various semiconductor factories. You will be required to adhere to strict SDLC practices with a focus on AGILE and Domain-Driven Development (DDD) methodologies. The role requires you to develop and support automated code test coverage, automated end-to-end functionality testing, build automation, and full CI/CD DevOps to ensure high velocity, high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain highly responsive, scalable and performant web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular)
Develop and deploy web pages as micro front-end services on cloud-native platforms.
Rapidly create new features using reusable and open-source components.
Collaborate with User Groups and team member to translate wireframes into functional prototypes
Ensure secure user authentication using technologies like JWT.
Optimize front-end performance and loading times by co-optimizing Front-end and Back-end components and collaborating closely with Backend developers.
Ensure high test coverage and integrate test and build automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Gather usage stats, profile, and performance tuning to ensure the best web experience for customers across the globe in multiple Intel sites.
Embed robust logging and monitoring into apps using ECS standards for high maintainability and ops dashboard integration.
Stay up to date with the latest web technologies and trends

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with 1+ years of industry experience in the following:
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with at least one popular JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js, Devexpress)
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress)
Proficiency in Git source code management tools including Git Bash and GitLab/GitHub.
Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for UI performance issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree with 6+ months of work experience.
Prior experience with query development and optimization using SQL
CI/CD DevOps and Docker experience in prior projects.
Working knowledge of basic computer science data structures and algorithms.
Knowledge of Domain Driven Design and Test-Driven Design patterns
Familiarity with Backend languages like C#/ASP.NET or Python/Django.
Prior experience working with both Stateless and Stateful APIs
Experience in leveraging third party .NET or Python packages.
