Transceiver Specialist Field Application Engineer (f/m/d)
Job Description
Provides technical expertise to close new design win opportunities and provides coengineering to drive product to production that results in billed revenue (sales in and/or sales through).
Exhibits deep knowledge of the product portfolio to drive sales for established Intel businesses and plant the seeds for growth in emerging businesses.
Cultivates the relationship between Intel and customer teams to identify and develop new opportunities within assigned accounts. Influences and enables OEMs, distributors, and ecosystem partners to drive sales through revenue.
Develops product demonstrations for customers to gauge product capabilities, assists in product design and review during onsite visits, and ensures customer requirements are met.
Establishes relationship with customer teams to facilitate rapid resolution of customer issues and promote the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Analyzes data to answer questions, reproduce errors, and resolve or escalate customer issues.
Provides timely feedback to the manufacturing and product teams on product issues and future requirements and ensures that Intel is adept to responding and/or anticipating changes needed for business continuity. Note: This is a commissioned sales position.
Qualifications
BS in Electronics Engineering or equivalent with minimum of 8 years of transceivers experience.
Experience in FPGA, ASIC or ASSP with embedded transceivers.
Strong experience working with transceivers technology like transmission lines, signal integrity, industry protocols (including Ethernet and PCIe).
Must have good presentation and interpersonal skills.
The person filling this role should be comfortable presenting technical solutions to customers.
Should be proficient in the use of FPGA development tools.
Regular Business travel required across EMEA and occasionally in the US.
Would suit an engineer looking to move into a sales role.
