Sr. Technical Content and Strategy Manager - Intel ON Series
Job Description
The Events Experiences team is seeking an experienced technical content manager with deep knowledge of large-scale events to lead the global content, design, and delivery of creative, compelling content for the Intel On Series events, including Intel Vision, Innovation, and Connection.
The Sr. Tech Event Content Manager is a critical role on our On Series team, and a significant contributor to the series growth efforts. Event management experience is expected, but this position requires specific skills, including technical content curation, orchestration of event production onsite and virtually as well as demonstrated success with cross-functional work experience leading teams toward a program goal. The ideal candidate for this role would also have experience partnering across business units to develop content goals for our various audience targets, including business decision makers and professionals, IT decision makers and professionals, as well as the software and hardware developer ecosystem.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Strategic program leader of overall content and engagement plans for Intel On
- Understands external environment, Intel strategies and objectives, target audiences, and event management to drive event attendee journey
- Partners with x-Intel SMG and Business Unit, BU, leadership teams to research, brainstorm, and develop strategic content plan for Intel Vision and Innovation
- Communicates regularly with to key internal audiences, including executive management, BU, SMG, regional and agency, to gather feedback, influence direction, and provide status on Intel On content strategy
- Drive Intel On content strategy and framework in alignment with event strategy
- Engage deeply with x-Intel SMG and BU business and tech to understand their areas of focus, product roadmaps, customers and partners, competition, key announcements, launches etc.
- Drive a strategic, connective thread through all content and engagement activities linking key focus messages throughout attendee event engagement
- Partner, collaborate and influence our key internal stakeholders including global comms, region and category sales teams, and business units
- Lead executive Tech Council, ensuring tops down visibility and ensuring appropriate input is executed
- Identify the 365 content needs and manage content development process end-to-end including defining content goals and timelines, project management, production timelines, event agenda, A/V requirements, space allocation to optimize attendee flow, different learning styles, venue capacity, speaker skills and event goals and objectives
- Oversee CW and agency partners in the daily management of all session and speaker logistics including session details, speaker bios, session scheduling, proofreading, PowerPoint presentations, session tagging and more
- Main point of contact for major onsite content escalations
- Oversee content tools and processes that will be available and scalable globally for teams around the globe
- Build and execute various reports that share key findings throughout content development and post-event cycles (evaluations, attendance, feedback) and communicate findings back to key stakeholders
- Modify processes to adopt best practices and incorporate feedback as appropriate
- Work with relevant partners to ensure content is demonstrated across multiple business channels post-event, enabling events to function as lifecycle marketing content generator
- Main POC for region stakeholders on Connection alignment, strategy, content selection approvals and cross-team deliverables
As a successful candidate, you must possess:
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and event management tools.
- Proven willingness to manage medium to large scale projects within the constraints of time, scope and budget
- Willingness to travel and to work independently and autonomously
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least a bachelor´s degree
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in related areas of event management, technical content management, and marketing
- 5+ years of corporate event experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor´s degree in business, marketing, communications, engineering or related
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in related areas of event management, technical content management, and marketing
- 7+ years of corporate event experience
