This role is within Intel’s Client Computing Group.CCG is a computing paradigm where services and data reside in scalable data centers, and those services and data can be accessed by any connected device over the Internet. Responsible for designing and optimizing processors, chipsets and other hardware for consumer devices while also working on the software ecosystem, including drivers and utilities that enhance user experience.
The Analog Circuit Engineer designs, develops, and builds analog circuits in advanced process nodes for analog and mixed signal IPs. Designs floorplans, performs circuit design, extracts chip parameters, and simulates analog behavior models. Creates test plans to verify design according to circuit and block microarchitecture specifications and evaluates test results. Verifies functionality to optimize circuit for power, performance, area, timing, and yield goals. Collaborates cross functionally to report design progress and collects, tracks, and resolves any performance and circuit design issues. Optimizes performance, power, area, and reduces leakage of circuits. Works with architecture and layout team to design circuit for best functionality, robustness, and electrical capabilities.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering or similar discipline with 3+ years relevant experience OR master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or similar discipline with 2+ years relevant experience OR Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar discipline with 1+ years relevant experience.
- 3+ years' experience in designing/developing/building analog circuits in advanced process nodes for analog and mixed signal IPs, also in verifying functionality to optimize circuit for power, performance, area, timing, and yield goals. ( may be a combination of education, internship, and work experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar discipline with 3+ years relevant experience.
- Exposure to device physics, power delivery, power integrity domain.Experience with simulation tools such as Cadence ADE/Synopsys Primewave, behavior model simulation tool such as VCS/NC-verilog, experience with layout tool such as Cadence Virtuoso
Overall experience should include
- Design, floorplan, perform circuit design, extract chip parameters and simulate analog behavior models
- Optimizes performance, power, area, and reduces leakage of circuits. Works with architecture and layout team to design circuit for best functionality, robustness, and electrical capabilities
