Engineering Planning Integrator
Job Description
- Planning analyst is responsible for planning ownership of a supply chain link.
- Responsibilities may include development, integration, optimization, coordination, communication and driving execution of engineering/production planning schedules, forecasts, materials, build plan and capacity requirements, and business and inventory strategies to meet business and customer requirements in collaboration with cross organizational supply chain stakeholders.
- May also conducts scenario (what if) planning for engineering, products, processes, and inventory strategies when necessary.
- Influencing/recommending issue resolution strategies in supply chain areas using data driven decision making across appropriate Key Stakeholder and Management levels.
- Drives continuous process/project improvements.
- Manage a group of new products under the business segments to ensure Planning readiness in supporting successful engineering activities, factory qualification, PRQ achievement and HVM startup, by working closure with NPP, NPI and other stakeholders.
- Own to ensure healthy engineering/customer samples supply to meet demand thru coordinating the Engineering build plan management processes among divisions and factory stakeholders, includes ensure die/material/capacity availability.
- Participate in line execution issue (induced by Planning) and work out the solutions to ensure smooth factory execution and no impact to NPI milestone- Participate in factory RRP/Gameplan as needed to drive supply support plan needed for the engineering builds. May need to negotiate capacity trade off with HVM as needed.
- Apply lean and drive continuous improvement in engineering build plan process. May engage in projects thru-out the PLC (project life cycle) for both business process / tool and system improvements
- Adequate technical capability and coordination skills to get the work done thru the GPO team for standardized repeatable tasks (e.g. part set up, etc.)
- Ensure that engineering build requests are being supported as best they can be based on available capacity and priority calls.
- Partner with engineering, integration, division, and factory to support build for customer samples, new product/process improvement evaluation lots, qual lots, and other non-revenue lots.
Qualifications
Job Qualification:
- Bachelor's In Business Administration, Supply Chain, Or Industrial Engineering.
- 3+ years relevant experience preferred.
