Design Reliability Engineer
Job Description
Design Reliability Engineers provide project management and product development support for integrated circuits. In this position, you will be part of a Pre-Si QnR group in the area of circuit reliability validation and governance of SOCs and Hard IPs leading edge process technology nodes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Translating technology requirements for circuits on leading edge process technologies into actionable design and product qualification requirements.
- Assess circuit risks associated with design/process marginalities on leading edge process technologies.
- Validation and governance of circuit reliability, analyzing design results and working with post-Si product qualification to ensure all over product reliability.
- Providing reliability risk assessments for a variety of circuits and products, considering scenarios, including, but not limited to, use conditions, new product features, performance enhancements.
- Coordinate and collaborate with Design, Product QnR, Technology Development and Back End Test for the product qualification.
- Working with process technology teams to identify and solve reliability roadblocks for pre-Si design and post-Si qualification milestones.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Physics with 8+ years of experience in circuit design or post silicon product qualification. Or
- PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Physics with 5+ years of experience in circuit design or post silicon product qualification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Quality and Reliability aspects of a VLSI design, awareness of the respective implications of QnR requirements to the product.
- Experience in project management and overall knowledge of VLSI design flow, technology development and device physics.
