Data Center Market Sr. Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Sr Analyst to join the Data Center Strategic Planning and Market Analytics organization.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating CPU market trends within the data center industry. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to help our company make informed decisions regarding CPU technology investments, product development, and market strategies.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Monitor and analyze CPU market trends, including pricing, technology advancements, and competitor strategies.
- Develop and maintain analytical models and forecasts to predict market movements and potential impacts on the business.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Create regular reports and presentations that summarize findings and recommendations for executive leadership.
- Stay informed on industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological innovations that may affect the CPU market.
- Support the data center strategy team with ad-hoc analysis and market intelligence as needed.
- Gather, clean, analyze, and prepare insights/recommendations using quantitative and qualitative business data, covering a wide array of domain specific subjects and specialized topics.
- Identify patterns in the data that contribute to the understanding of the market; transforms data into actionable insights to support decision making and impacting improvements in business practices.
- Assess strategies by analyzing industry trends and markets.
- Build compelling data stories, translates data into insights, provides recommendations and options, and measures business impact of decisions made.
- Advise on analytical projects for senior leadership, often influencing decision making through compelling narratives and storytelling.
- Explore new and innovative visual approaches and techniques such as interactive dashboards for better data storytelling.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy business intelligence scripts as required and performs detailed analytics.
- Conduct business analysis, collect business requirements, and translate them into business intelligence solutions leveraging best practices, also help customers build data acumen.
- Collaborate with a variety of business/functional stakeholders and bridges to technical staff, including Data Engineers and Data Architects to build analytics and business intelligence requirements in the design stage.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications, you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a business intelligence or data analyst role, focused on the technology or Data Center industry.
- 4+ years of proven track record of analyzing market trends, with a specific emphasis on CPUs and related technologies.
4+ years of experience with Data Center operations, infrastructure, and the competitive landscape of CPU manufacturers. - Advanced English level.
- Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico or Costa Rica.
- The position is placed in Mexico or Costa Rica, it is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications,
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:
- A Master's degree or MBA with a focus on analytics or technology management is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python) and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
- Strong understanding of the Industry, also statistical analysis, forecasting, and data mining techniques.
- Familiarity with CPU architectures, performance benchmarks, and industry standards.
- Knowledge of big data technologies and machine learning algorithms is a plus.
