Process and Equipment Engineer

Job Description

1) Owns high volume manufacturing test tooling and equipment, ensuring they are meeting safety and productivity standards under high volume production of integrated circuits. 2) Conduct problem solving and develop solution to solve and eliminate root cause of the problem to prevent repeated occurrence. Initiates continuous improvement idea and activity to both test tooling and equipment. 3) Responsible and accountable for test tooling and equipment key performance indicators such as Safety, quality, cost, productivity and yield. Required to work on the test tooling and equipment supplier as well as Technology Development team as required to address or resolve problem. 4) Owns and manage quality excursion with key stakeholders in Manufacturing, Failure Analysis and Quality and Reliability to manage the impacted production materials, tooling and equipment, urgently execute recovery actions to avoid impact to production flow. 5) Actively monitor the equipment and process to detect abnormality for action. 6) Perform test tooling and equipment installation and qualification to ensure meeting safety and quality characteristic defined for production. 7) Involve in learning and start-up or transfer of new Test Tooling and equipment technology to factory as well as collaborating with other manufacturing sites for standardization and cross sites learning. 8) Work with operation team in managing test tooling and equipment performance in supporting production and in ad hoc situation will be required to work on shift hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Material Science.
• Fresh graduates or with 1 year working experience in similar SEMI-Conductor company.
• Experience and knowledgeable in Electrical Schematic Diagram, mechanical placement, Soldering of PCB component will be added advantages.
• Additional experience and skills in data analysis tools like JMP. Trend Charts, Programming languages Perl, Visual Basic, Visual C++, C Sharp would be an added advantage.
