Automation Data Engineer

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and establishing a continuous integration open-source Python-based automation framework for IP validation test content and validation ingredient for IP validation in FPGA/Emulation environment.

• This role requires hands-on experience in developing and sustaining the automation framework using Python OOP structure, setting up Continuous Integration frameworks, and expertise in integrating CI tools like Jenkins, Github, Artifactory, or similar tools.

• The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that data telemetry data collected for volume execution can be consumed by AI to improve execution efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Automation and Infrastructure Development:

• Enable test automation on new SOCs/platform’s IP in newly setup FPGA farm, involving validation of HW and SW interactions.

• Design, develop, and maintain test tools infrastructure to facilitate test execution automation.

• Develop an automation test framework for pre and post-commit testing in CI framework.

• Software Development and Data Management:

• Create custom software components and analytics applications

• Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design

• Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures

• Data Acquisition and Processing:

• Research opportunities for data acquisition and new uses for existing data

• Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production

• System Support and Maintenance:

• Understand Linux kernel concepts and Linux kernel debugging

• Support the deployment of test automation solution and maintain operational efficiency

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

• At least 5 years of job experience in software architecture planning and ability to write python code in an object-oriented programming (OOP) structure.

• Experience with Linux shell scripts like bash, regex for data parsing and extraction.

• Experience in using SW development tools like Github for source control systems, Jenkin, Artifactory (CI/CD).

• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.

• Experience with cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure).
