Job Description


In this position you will join the new Mfg Development QnR organization - Playing a key role in enabling various collaborations Intel has with external companies and customizing existing foundry process offerings to meet new customers' requirements. You will be part of the team developing the process for the current and future Intel Foundry initiatives process in the various Intel fabs - Partnering with Fabs, FEC (Fab Eng and Customization), IFS (Intel Foundry) and QnR teams to develop, modify, customize the foundry process, so it will meet the cert requirements and the various products quality and reliability goals. In this role you will acting as a single point of contact for all QnR topics.

Your responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Acting as the single point of contact for all QnR requests to the process development teams.
  • Defining and tracking the committed reliability milestones and collaterals.
  • Addressing risk areas by working through partners and with reliability module QRE.
  • You will need to demonstrate knowledge and expertise in various quality and reliability modules for all principal areas of FE/Transistor, back-end interconnects, and defect's reliability, and function as first point-of-contact for all new issues.
  • Part of your deliverables will be defining and driving QnR strategic direction, providing technical inputs for task forces, focus teams, and working groups. Working with IFS QnR to identify, you will need to prioritize and track new customers' requests, ensuring these requests are taken to the correct forums for review/feedback/approval.
  • Lastly, for various process changes and excursions, you will be representing QnR to external foundry customers providing key technical support and initial technical risk assessment if applicable.

The ideal candidate should exhibit:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and writing)
  • Proven strong project management and technical leadership skills.


Qualifications


Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical, Material Science Engineering, Physics or a related field of study.
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, characterization, modeling, and/or failure analysis of semiconductor devices (such as solid state transistors, optoelectronic devices, and switching devices used in displays).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or related field of study.
  • Previous work experience as Si Foundry integration/device/reliability Eng role, facing external customers.
  • Experience in big data processing.
  • Experience in experimental design execution and interpretation.
  • Experience with semiconductor device fabrication integration and characterization.

Experience in VLSI circuit design including analog and digital.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
