Job Description


We are seeking a change champion and agile leader to join the Global Communications and Events Team at Intel as the Global Strategy and Operations Leader, a pivotal role at the forefront of our organizational transformation. This leader will unite headquarter and regional teams, enhancing collaboration and synergy to improve our organization's performance across functions and elevate our overall impact. The right leader will be driven by a sense of urgency, able to thrive in ambiguity, and has a passion for driving change and making a meaningful impact.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff to the Chief Communications Officer, this role offers unparalleled opportunities for professional growth and development. You'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our organization, spearheading projects from ideation to execution while championing a global culture of optimism, inventiveness, and data-driven thinking.

As an integral part of the Global Operations Team, you will spearhead efforts to standardize a fresh AI adoption philosophy, optimize organizational impact via a revamped metrics program, elevate the annual strategic plan, and refine financial and operational processes for enhanced efficiency. Your leadership will propel the growth and development of every member within our global organization, fostering unity across borders and positioning Intel as a pioneer in the communications field.

You will play an essential role in working directly with leadership staff and, at times, act as Chief of Staff in meetings/duties as required. You will also work with other operations offices and Chiefs of Staff across Intel.

In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

  • Standardize AI adoption philosophy within the organization, identifying resources, scalable tools, and processes to maximize impact and efficiency.
  • Maximize organizational impact through the realignment of metrics programs, leveraging industry-leading best practices to measure and optimize performance.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs) for global organization and operations function.
  • Liaise with key members of the leadership team plus other senior leaders to ensure operations efforts are aligned with org priorities and meeting/exceeding agreed upon objectives.
  • Lead the annual strategic planning process for the Global Communications and Events Team, developing robust strategies and initiatives aligned with Intel's business objectives.
  • Strengthen financial discipline by diligently overseeing budget management and organizational finance processes, ensuring seamless and precise reporting.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on operational processes, systems, and tools used across the organization.
  • Lead end-to-end project management efforts, from concept development to implementation, leveraging innovative thinking and strategic problem-solving to drive results.
  • Monitor and analyze emerging trends and advancements in AI adoption within the communications field, ensuring our strategies remain innovative and aligned with industry developments.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of global operations strategies and plans aligned with organization objectives.
  • Foster professional growth and development for all team members, providing leadership, guidance, and support in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. 

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience creating and implementing successful strategies within a corporate environment.
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics with attention to detail, with at least 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset, adept at analyzing and interpreting metrics to drive informed decision-making with at least 2+ years of experience in a similar capacity.

Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out

  • Agency experience and keen interest in experimenting with AI tools and technologies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in implementing structured frameworks to drive program management or change management or new initiatives effectively.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $123,139.00-$203,801.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
