Python Software Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a software engineer to join the GPU Software Development Engineer team.

In this position, you will partner with graphics engineering and infrastructure teams to develop software automation solutions, which will improve the time to market for graphics card products. This position requires a diverse set of skills and will allow you to work in a fast-paced automation development and debug environment.

If you are passionate about test automation and interested in working in a strong agile team, following continuous integration and delivery methodologies, while working with technologies like Python, SQL, Docker, GIT, we would encourage you to apply for this position.

Areas of responsibility include designing, developing, debugging and improving tools to automate graphics driver installation and testing across multiple platform types. You will be stepping into a fast-moving, exciting environment with team members who are open to change, interested in learning, and anxious to help improve the lives of the engineering community at Intel.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

• Advanced Python programming skills

• Familiarity with source control management solutions like GIT

• Team player able to focus on business goals

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in continuous integration/delivery

• Object-oriented, test-driven programming practices

• Cooperation with diverse teams on optimal solutions

• Get knowledge about Linux environment

• Be familiar with topics like: infrastructure, containerization, Kubernetes

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
