Qualifications

Key Requirements:

• Student Status and Field of Study: You must be a current undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. It's essential to maintain your student status throughout the duration of the internship.
• Problem-Solving Expertise: Demonstrating a willingness to learn new topics and continuously improve your skills is crucial.
• Development Skills: Basic experience in C or C++ development/debugging or testing.
• Customer Interaction: Willingness to work directly with customers in a technical support role.
• Technical Proficiency: Possess a basic knowledge of operating systems, including Windows or Linux.
• Communication Skills: Fluent in verbal and written English, we communicate with customers of all skill levels, from novice to expert.
• Tool Proficiency: Having basic knowledge about version control systems like Git is valuable.
• Collaboration Skills: Emphasize teamwork and partner management skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Ethernet Expertise: Familiarity with wired Ethernet firmware/driver knowledge.
• Technical Proficiency: Knowledge in drivers and hardware-oriented software.
• Tool Proficiency: Experience with defect tracking applications.
• Networking Knowledge: Understanding of the TCP/IP networking stack, especially physical and link layer protocols.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
