Your Mission:

  • Lead the design and development of state-of-the-art Ethernet subsystems, focusing on 400G/800G speeds, leveraging cutting-edge process nodes to deliver best-in-class power, performance, and area (PPA) metrics.
  • Work hand-in-hand with system architects to translate visionary concepts into tangible designs, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with overall system architecture.
  • Drive the entire design lifecycle, from initial concept through to silicon power-on, ensuring that each phase meets stringent product KPIs and industry benchmarks.
  • Champion the use of advanced PAM-4 modulation techniques, pushing the envelope in high-speed data transmission and setting new industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to simulate, validate, and optimize our Ethernet subsystems, ensuring robust performance and adherence to product specifications.
  • Actively participate in post-silicon activities, including power-on, debugging, and validation, to guarantee product quality and performance in real-world applications.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a dedicated team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning.

Qualifications


What You'll Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Extensive experience in Ethernet subsystem design, with a proven track record in HSIO and PAM-4 technologies, particularly for 400G/800G applications.
  • Expertise in the latest semiconductor process technologies, with a focus on optimizing designs for power, performance, and area (PPA).
  • Demonstrated success in leading design projects from concept to production, with hands-on experience in silicon bring-up and validation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to achieving excellence in design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with architects and cross-functional teams, and articulating complex technical concepts with clarity.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
