Intel Mask Operation Module Development Engineer

This position is in the Logic Technology Development team working in one of the most advanced semiconductor process technologies in the world. You will design, execute, and analyze experiments to develop the process for photomasks manufacturing that support the next semiconductor technologies to come into the market. What you will be considered for: 

Intel Mask Operation Module Development Engineers are responsible for leading scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative photomasks which includes but are not limited to: 

  • Leading scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative photomask processes coupled with the realization of these processes.

  • Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for their process.

  • Participating in the development of intellectual property.

  • Integrating the many individual steps necessary for the manufacture of complex photomasks.

  • Ramp to manufacturing volumes to demonstrate the technology meets requirements while simultaneously transferring the technology to counterparts via the Copy Exactly! Methodology.


Qualifications


You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD in chemical, mechanical, materials engineering, physics, chemistry or related STEM Engineering.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of photomask manufacturing and process technology.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of design of experiments, process control methodology, data analysis skills in data analysis tools such as JMP, SQL, etc.

  • Cleanroom experience

  • Statistical Process Control (SPC) or Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and engineering analysis tools.

  • +2 years of experience in Semiconductor fabrication or nanotechnology.


Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $105,797.00-$175,105.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
