Job Description

Sales and Marketing Group (SMG) has embarked on a multi-year Sales Transformation Journey that will empower and equip our sellers to better serve our customers, capture customer loyalty, and support Intel's growth target. The Sales Excellence team is chartered to lead this transformation working across SMG and Intel.

The Sales Incentives team, part of Sales Excellence, is responsible for developing and implementing sales incentive plans that are:

  • Aligned to strategy and job roles
  • Motivational and market competitive
  • Pay for persuasion, influence, and performance
  • Consistent, transparent, and simple

This unique role is responsible for maintaining the newly implemented commission administration system (Varicent ICM) and providing support to the sales organization. The primary functions will relate to supporting the Varicent ICM solution to ensure incentive compensation is calculated and reported correctly. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is a quick learner, proactive in solving problems, and has strong communication skills. This role will need to collaborate with team members and other business partners to develop business requirements, implement solutions, make changes to commission plans, design new incentive plans, and develop reports within the commission system.

Essential Functions

  • In-depth understanding of the Lease commission plans/calculations and related data
  • Collaborate with team members and other business partners to determine the best Varicent ICM solutions to fulfill commission plan requirements
  • Implement and test commission plan changes in Varicent ICM as provided by Sales Incentive leadership
  • Estimate time and effort to implement changes, facilitate prioritization of work, document decisions, and communicate timelines
  • Communicate and meet with Global Sales Incentive team to explain calculations and answer questions related to commission plan payouts.
  • Document current policies, processes, and procedures
  • Provide Varicent ICM training to team members
  • Create and maintain Varicent ICM training materials
  • Leverage continuous improvement practices and techniques to improve processes and solutions
  • Collaborate with IT on designing and implementing data exchanges between Varicent ICM and other systems (e.g., ERP)
  • Design, develop, and execute test cases and capture results to validate functionality changes

As a successful candidate, you must possess:

  • Experience working in fast-paced demanding environment.

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, accounting, finance, engineering, or related.
- Advanced English.

- 3+ years of experience or education in:

  • Accounting/finance
  • In a large company

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3+ years or more of experience in Varicent ICM configuration and development.
- 3+ years or more as a business analyst.

- 3+ years of experience providing accounting/finance support to a sales/marketing organization.

Working Model


This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
