OpenVINO CPU Plugin Development (f/m/d)

Job Description

Conducts design and development to build and optimize AI software. Designs, develops, and optimizes for AI frameworks (e.g., OpenVINO) and to contribute to external frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). Implements various distributed algorithms such as model/data parallel frameworks, parameter servers, dataflow based asynchronous data communication in machine learning, and/or deep learning frameworks. Transforms computational graph representation of neural network model, and develops machine learning and/or deep learning primitives in mathematical libraries. Profiles distributed deep learning models to identify performance bottlenecks and proposes solutions across individual component teams. Optimizes code for various computing hardware backends, and interacts with machine learning and/or deep learning researchers, and utilizing experience with machine learning and/or deep learning frameworks.

Qualifications

Your responsibilities will include:

• Development and low-level optimizations of DL operation implementations targeting Intel and 3rd party CPU architectures.

• Analysis of the existing DL operations algorithms efficiency and finding areas for performance improvement of their implementations.

• Developing runtime graph transformations aimed at improving DL model inference performance at the topological level.

• Enablement of new deep learning models from various domains within Intel OpenVINO toolkit.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge in the Computer Science domain.

• Strong knowledge of OOP design principles and design patterns.

• At least 4 years of experience in software development. C/C++ programming skills.

• Understanding of parallel algorithms and multithreaded application design.

• Knowledge of modern processor architecture.

• Spoken and written English: Upper-Intermediate level or above.

The following will be an additional advantage:

• Experience in low level software development (especially for x86-64 and ARM ISAs).

• Knowledge of Image Processing / Computer Vision, Machine Learning / Neural Networks.

• Knowledge in tensor compiler technologies.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
